Damlataş Cave is one of Alanya’s most famous natural wonders. Discovered in 1948, this stunning cave has been a popular destination for thousands of visitors. It is located beneath Alanya Castle and just behind Damlataş Beach, offering easy access to both tourists and locals.
The cave features a 50-meter long entrance and is filled with mesmerizing stalactites, stalagmites, and natural formations that have taken millions of years to form. One of the most significant aspects of Damlataş Cave is its reputation for therapeutic benefits. The air inside the cave is believed to have positive effects on respiratory problems, making it an important site for health tourism. In fact, 21-day breathing therapies are offered within the cave.
Visitors can access the cave via public transportation from Alanya’s center. Entry to the cave costs 15 $ per person, and it is open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
