Another interesting cave you can visit in Alanya is the Dwarfs’ Cave, which is part of Sapadere Canyon and located on a steep slope. The cave, which can be reached with a 35-40 minute drive from the town center, was opened to visitors in 2012 after its interior was organized. Dwarfs’ Cave is considered one of the most striking examples of karst formations, which are commonly found in the Mediterranean Region, and it mesmerizes visitors with its six different galleries.
You can explore the well-lit interior paths of Dwarfs’ Cave, which stretches for 170 meters, and spend an unforgettable day among its fascinating stalactites and stalagmites that have formed over thousands of years. It is also possible to walk to the very end of the cave and see the dripstone pools.
